IPAF Approved Service Training Courses

This course is specifically aimed at service engineers who have basic skills in electric and hydraulic systems. Ideally, you will also have experience of working on access equipment earlier in your career. The course is broken down into four parts; we will aim to teach you component location and identification, system adjustment, troubleshooting & how to utilise schematic diagrams.

Part one will cover the different safety information that you will come across while working on your chosen machine as well as re-presenting some common sense practices you should use when working on access equipment.

Part two covers procedures involved in the different maintenance tasks you may be asked to undertake and it will also cover the different controls of a machine and what they do in relation to the safe operation of the overall equipment.

Part three of the service training course will cover the identification of a machines primary parts and the different functions that they perform.

Part four will show you everything you need to know about reading and using technical schematic diagrams.

On successfully completing your course, you will be ready to undertake maintenance on your chosen machine.
