Access Platforms Service and Maintenance
Under The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations - LOLER as it is often
called - and in line with PUWER - Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations - every employer has a legal responsibility to ensure that the access equipment being used in the workplace is regularly inspected. The inspection has to take place at least every 6 months, or more often if being used in hostile environments and should always be carried out by a competent person.
With our planned maintenance agreements, we will call you when your access equipment is ready to be re-tested . We will arrange a convenient time for our engineers to come in and carry out a thorough examination and scheduled maintenance together with minor repairs. Major repairs, insurance work and refurbishment can be carried out at our workshop in Newark, it is fully equipped for all engineering tasks including major overhauls and insurance work and we can collect and deliver your machine back to you if required. We can also lend a machine to use whilst yours is being repaired.
While on site our engineer will also service your machine to maintain the reliability of your access equipment. You will receive a copy of the engineers report and once your access platform has passed a LOLER test you will be sent a copy of your LOLER certificate. A full history of all work carried out on your machine is kept on file at our offices.
